Fun sewing classes for kids and adults

General Information

Classes

  

  • Weekly classes run from September - May
  • I only ask for month-to-month commitment to make it easy on family schedules that may change throughout the year.
  • Tuition is $33 per 1.5 hour class.
  • Tuition is due the first  week of each month.​
  • Maximum of 6 students per class.
  • Class Machines provided.
  • A $45 NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee is required for      all new students prior to their 1st session.
  • Pattern workbook and instructions for 9 to 12 months are included in  registration fee. 
  • Also included in registration is the first sewing projects fabric and notions (drawstring bag).  
  • Students are required to purchase their own fabric and notions for each project after completing the first project.           
  • The Kids Can Sew program consists of the following levels:​ Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4. 
  •  Students begin with Level 1 and move on to the successive pattern workbooks upon completion or      move on to fabric store patterns when sufficient progress is shown.​

     

Camps

Camps, Workshops, and field trips are offered  throughout the year during school breaks and weekends.  Prices may vary for camps and workshops.

  • Summer Camps are 3 days per week and meet for 3 hours each day.
  • Workshops are 3 hours long, 

Private Lessons, Parties and Sip & Sews

Private classes, birthday parties and adult sip & sews are available too.   If you or your child wishes to learn how to use your own machines contact me for a private lesson!

  • Private lessons in my studio are $50 per hour per student.

Policies

Important Policy information

  

EARLY DROP OFF and LATE PICK UP AGREEMENT
Doors open 5 minutes before each class, camp or workshop.  $1.00 per minute fee will be charged for every minute a child is dropped off early or picked up late. 


MATERIALS FEE

Students are to provide all material and supplies unless otherwise stated (materials are typically provided for camps and workshops) and a fee for supplies may be charged a child arrives to class unprepared.
 

REFUND POLICY and MAKE-UPs
A $45 non-refundable registration fee is required to hold a space for each class, workshop and camp. Spaces are not guaranteed without a deposit. There are no refunds for cancellations (7) days or less for classes, workshops or camps. Refunds cannot be provided for “no-shows”. If a child misses a class due to sickness or other scheduling conflicts, a make-up class may be scheduled within the same month.  Credits are no longer provided. If TrishTacSew cancels a class, workshop or camp due to low enrollment, teacher emergency or inclement weather, students will be notified by email and/or telephone, and a full refund will be made.
